I recently rewatched the Exorcist for the first time since I was like 12 and I realized, maybe its just because I watch so much Supernatural, but shouldn't Reagan be dead after her possession? I don't understand how the demon didn't snap her spine. He twisted that thing all about. She should be fucking dead, man. What do you think?

I’ve thought about that before, but I’ve always just kind of fallen back on the “well, it’s a demon or Satan or something and it’s using her body as a host so it can probably manipulate it to do creepy shit like that with only relatively minor collateral damage” excuse.
