30 Day Horror Challenge - Day 23 Graphics that pull you out of the movie.  Interesting story? Want. Ridiculously talented lead actor? Want. Quality writing and direction? Want. Stupid looking CGI deer? Do. Not. Want. I Am Legend was almost perfect, but that CGI killed it dead for me. I am so not the “LOL CGI SUX” guy. I understand why filmmakers rely on it. CGI is easy, and it allows you to do things practical effects never could. But, come on! They couldn’t do better than that with a $150 million budget? Heaven forbid you let some real deer run around—or just avoid pointless deer scenes altogether. =P The zombies were kind of lame, too. But it’s mostly the damn deer that kill me.
