A horror movie that only makes you laugh.
Picture this: your estranged, abusive, alcoholic, drug-addicted, psychologically disturbed soon-to-be-ex husband breaks into your house in broad daylight, armed with a gun and several buckets of paint, shouting off hundreds of expletives for no readily discernible reason. He then proceeds to threaten you until you allow him to stay and paint over anything and everything in your house with a reflective surface. He won’t say why he’s doing it but he says it’s non-negotiable.
This is the kind of thing that is perfectly normal in the world of Alexandre Aja’s Mirrors. This and some of the worst CGI and least likable protagonists in film history. Oh, and terrible twist endings. It is the greatest comedy ever made.
I can’t believe the man who made High Tension was responsible for this trash.
